2018/CW09 Training M40

The Men's 40s had planned a training weekend on Sunday 4th March. The plan had been to train on the Saturday in Geneva, dinner and drinks on Saturday night, then training in Lausanne on Sunday. Unfortunately, we had arctic conditions in Geneva, and the pitch was closed. This allowed us to carry on with the dinner and drinks on Saturday night, and then brave the freezing conditions in Lausanne on the Sunday. When we arrived at the pitch, the snow was 15cm deep across the pitch….! Our warm up was therefore the clearing of an area suitable for drills.  

In the end we can a great session, focussing on key skills such as passing, defending, wraps, switches, bows, As and Bs, and most importantly… the shifting of 3 tonnes of snow using a wooden pallet :)
